June 29 Tribute to the great bandleader Mr. Mack

The Park Hill Band Alumni has formed a committee to organize a tribute to Mr. Mack, who led the Trojans to seven consecutive State March Band championships during our high school years! The event will be held on June 29, 2013 at the KCI Expo Center (11730 NW Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, MO 64153). Events will include a mid-day rehearsal, a 6 pm concert and then a reception. During the reception, entertainment will be provided by the Trouble Clefs band (check them out on Facebook) and attendees are invited to "sit in" with the band!

Everyone is welcome to attend, join in the concert, or just come for the reception. If you are interested in playing, let Vicki know what instrument you play and sheet music will be provided. There will be three pieces performed: One directed by Mr. Hascall, one directed by Mr. Bell, and one directed by Mr. Mack.

If you no longer have use for your band instrument, and would like to give back to the band program, this would be a great time to donate. It's a significant way to support the music department. This event will be held in a public facility, so donations will be appreciated to help to cover the costs.

the weekend of Saturday, September 21, 2013!

It’s happening again!  Plan to join in the fun and spend the day with your friends from the Class of 1974.  We’re looking to offer a few new activities at the Kactus Creek Croquet Club this year.   More specifics will be posted as we approach the date of the event.  In the meantime, keep in touch by contacting others through this website, or contact us Website Administrators directly by emailing us at 74trojans2@gmail.com, or join the group on Facebook. 

Also, Jason Hoskins is organizing a trip to watch the Royals play on Saturday, May 11th. Jason must receive your ticket money by April 26, 2013 for reservations. Please click on the class Facebook Link button to the left and go to the Events section to be included -  or contact Jason directly.

Next year (2014) will be our year for an “official” Class Reunion.  We will start discussions about what we want to plan for the celebration.  Come to offer your ideas of what you would like to do for next year.
